WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Purdue football team closed its season with a 56-3 loss to No. 2 Indiana on Friday night.

Despite sub-freezing conditions from start to finish, the announced Ross-Ade Stadium attendance for the 100th Old Oaken Bucket rivalry game was 59,807. At 24 degrees for the opening kickoff, it was the coldest recorded temperature for a home game in Purdue history.

Quarterback Ryan Browne went 25-of-47 for 238 yards, finishing his sophomore campaign with 2,153 passing yards and nine touchdowns. Michael Jackson III led the receivers with six catches and 66 yards.

Antonio Harris paced the Boilermaker backfield with 31 yards on 15 carries.

Spencer Porath produced Purdue’s only points on a 22-yard field goal in the first quarter. The sophomore kicker finished 15-for-17 on field goals this season, setting a new Purdue single-season record for field goal percentage (88.2%). Punter Jack McCallister matched his season high with four punts pinned inside the 20-yard line.

Tahj Ra-El led the team in tackles for the third time this season, amassing 12 stops (seven solos). Mani Powell and CJ Nunnally IV each notched a tackle for loss.
