When you go back into the history of what this game means to the people of Purdue and this great university… The responsibility has been reminded to me throughout my time here in the last 10 months about how important this game is. It’s something we’ve spent time on this week, understanding the importance of playing for something bigger than ourselves.
- Head Coach Barry OdomAny time you put the ball down and go play, it’s a big week… But especially in this game with the Old Oaken Bucket and the history behind this game, that is not lost on us, I assure you that.
- Offensive Coordinator John HensonThere are pieces and a mentality that’s understood in the defensive room on how things need to be if we want to play well. There are standards, certain metrics we are trying to meet, and they understand what we feel is important.
