Simeunovic Picks Up Pair of Wins on Final Day of the Hope RSM Invite

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Purdue men’s tennis team wrapped up the Hope RSM Invite with a doubles champion title earned by Stefan Simeunovic and Maj Premzl and a win on the singles side by Simeunovic.

Maj Premzl and Stefan Simeunovic won the Hope RSM Invite West back bracket, downing Michigan State’s Saye/Sheldon: 7-6(4). Additionally, Jovic and Mujtaba Ali-Kahn defeated Western Michigan’s Adesoro / Moriaty: 6-3.

In singles play, Simeunovic also picked up a win, taking down Yang (Northwestern), 7-6(1), 6-4. Meanwhile, Maj Premzl fell to Gregg (Notre Dame) 1-6, 5-7 and Jovi fell to Cerasoulo (Notre Dame): 6-4, 7-6(3).

Next week, the Boilermakers will host the ITA Regional, running Oct. 9-14 at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
