Boilers Fall in Doubles

MADISON, Wis. – The men’s tennis doubles opened the Big Ten Individuals Championships Thursday night with a pair of losses to Nebraska Cornhuskers in the round of 16.

The pairings went on to play a doubles consolation match, in which the Boilermakers Maj Premzl and Stefan Simeunovic picked up a 6-3 victory against Wisconsin.

Tomorrow, doubles consolation will begin at 9 a.m. ET for both pairs: Juan David Velasquez / Mujtaba Ali-Khan and Stefan Simenunovic / Maj Premzl. Then, at approximately 9:45 a.m. (following doubles), Ali-Khan and Simeunovic will begin play in the singles round of 64 and 32, respectively.
