WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
Purdue Football is set to host its homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 25 at noon against Rutgers.

Monday continued head coach Barry Odom's weekly press conference availability. Offensive coordinator Josh Henson and defensive coordinator Mike Scherer addressed the media prior to Odom taking to the podium.

Players made available Monday morning were linebacker Charles Correa and running back Devin Mockobee. Correa's 59 tackles are second on Purdue, and Mockobee paces the offense with 430 rushing yards.

After Saturday's homecoming game, Purdue heads back on the road to face Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 1.

We had our best Monday practice of the year today, which is exciting to see… Our guys were energetic, enthusiastic, played with a purpose and played with passion.

- Head Coach Barry Odom

We are going to have to execute and make the other team beat us and not beat ourselves. When that happens, we’ll have a good result, and the Boilermakers will be happy.

- Offensive Coordinator John Henson

He [Smiley Bradford] is improving every week, and that’s one of the better things you can say about a person. He continues to show up on Saturday, and he continues to make plays.
