WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue men's tennis junior Aleksa Krivokapic is set to compete on the international stage at the Davis Cup for his home country of Montenegro. Hosted in Zhuhai, China at the at the Hengqin International Tennis Center, the match is set to begin tonight at 10 p.m. ET (Friday at 11 a.m. locally in China).
 
Krivokapic will compete against China's Zhizhen Zhang, who is ranked No. 50 in the world, following the first match of Petar Jovanovic (Montegro) vs. Jle Cui (China).
 
Krivokapic, a native of Podgorica, Montenegro, earned the Big Ten title in the fall and has carried the momentum int the spring, beginning the year with a 3-0 record at the No. 1 singles position. Overall, he has secured 18 wins overall since joining the Boilermakers for the 2023-24 season.
 
While Krivokapic is competing for his country, the Boilermakers will be priming to play Brown on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Schwartz Tennis Center.
