Boilers to Start Fall Ball on Friday

Purdue softball is set to begin fall ball against Lake Land College on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. est.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue softball is set to begin fall ball against Lake Land College on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. est. 

The fall ball slate includes seven matchups, five of which will be held at Purdue's Bittinger Stadium. The Boilers will only travel to Oxford, Ohio to take on Miami (OH), one of the two Division I matchups on the schedule.

The Boilers will play Lake Land College (Sept. 26), Indiana Tech (Sept. 27), Miami (OH) (Oct. 5), Rock Valley College (Oct. 19), and end with a pair of games against DePaul (Oct. 19). The matchups against Lake Land, Indiana Tech, and Rock Valley will all be 10-inning contests.

Purdue added a trio of transfers over the summer, as well as six freshmen to round out the roster which returns 12 players from the 2025 Big Ten semifinalist team. The Boilers have six freshmen, three sophomores, eight juniors, and five seniors.

Admission to Bittinger Stadium is free.
