WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 14 Purdue Boilermakers (5-1) are set to take on Houson (5-1) and No. 11 SMU (6-0) in Lexington, Kentucky this weekend in the penultimate week of non-conference action.

WOLLARD NAMED BIG TEN CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
- Joined by Michigan's Allison Jacobs, Kenna Wollard was selected as Big Ten Co-Player of the Week after ranking No. 6 nationally in total points and 10th in total attacks.
- Her performance included 24 kills vs No. 23 Georgia Tech, the most by a Big Ten player in a four set match last week, while on a .321 hitting clip.
- Then, she followed it up just 24 hours later with a .318 hitting % on 19 kills and 15 digs vs. Bowling Green.
- To close the Stacey Clark Classic vs. No. 15 Kansas, Wollard led the team with another double-double of 15 digs and 20 kills.
MCALEER JOINS 30-DIG CLUB
- Sophomore Ryan McAleer’s 30 digs vs. #15 Kansas (9/5) marked the most by a Boilermaker since 2021 (Jena Otec: 30 at Maryland, 11/5/21).
- She is the 12th Boilermaker to reach the prestigious 30-dig club and just the fifth underclassman to do so.
- She is the first Power 4 player to reach 30-digs in a match this season (Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Big 12).
DIOR CHARLES: PROGRAM RECORD SET
- Charles set a Purdue record for hitting % in a five-set match vs. Bowling Green (9/4) and produced the fourth-overall highest clip by a Boilermaker with her errorless .846 attack (11-0-13).
- The mark also is the second-highest hitting % in the nation so far this year.
DEFENSIVE DANDY VS #15 KANSAS
- Purdue totaled 87 digs in the 3-2 win vs. #15 Kansas (9/5), the most digs by the Boilers since 2021.
- In fact, over the last 10 years, Purdue has reached at least 87 digs on just two other occasions (103 vs Minnesota - spring 2021 season and 89 vs. Illinois - 2021 season).
