WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Headlined by a trio of Boilermakers with 4.0 grade-point averages during the 2024-25 school year, five members of Purdue Baseball were recognized as the program's Academic All-District honorees.

Selected to represent Purdue were 2025 starters Brandon Anderson, Albert Choi, Aaron Manias and Keenan Spence as well as relief pitcher Isaac Milburn. They were recognized for having 3.5-plus GPAs coupled with starting at least 66% of the team's games – or having pitched at least 35 innings/17 games in the case of Milburn on the mound.

Anderson and Choi earned graduate certificates last month after joining the Boilermakers for their final seasons of collegiate eligibility. Spence also graduated last month with his bachelor's in selling and sales management, earning it in two years at Purdue. Milburn is set to officially earn his bachelor's degree in construction management in December.

Anderson, Choi and Manias joined Brody Chrisman as Boilermakers to earn flaw 4.0 GPAs during the 2024-25 school year.

College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District and Academic All-America program underwent an overhaul in the summer of 2022. The minimum GPA requirement was raised from 3.3 to 3.5 – with freshmen remaining ineligible. Graduate students are required to have achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA during their undergraduate course work as well. Programs are now permitted to designate a selected number of eligible student-athletes to be recognized as Academic All-District. That number of honorees for baseball has been set at five per team. Academic All-America honorees are selected from the Academic All-District designees.

The Academic All-District and Academic All-America programs continue to strive to spotlight student-athletes that achieve dual success in athletic and academic accomplishments.
