JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Purdue Track & Field's opening day at the NCAA East First Round featured a four-hour weather delay before Cameron Miller advanced to the 200m Quarterfinal.
 
The men's pole vault was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday but was postponed to Thursday at 9:30 a.m. due to the inclement weather.
 
Men's Notes
• Miller ran a 20.65 to win his heat and finished 7th overall in the First Round. The 200m Quarterfinal is scheduled for Friday at 7:50 p.m.
Nolan Macklin (21.15) and Antoine Spencer (21.23) wrapped up their 200m season in 27th and 29th, respectively.
Leo Maxwell concluded his season 31st in the region in the hammer throw (61.36m / 201-04).
Cale Ayers finished his collegiate career with a 39th-place finish in the hammer throw (60.47m / 198-04).
Douglas Buckeridge finished 44th in the 10,000m (31:05.31).
