JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Purdue Track & Field's opening day at the NCAA East First Round featured a four-hour weather delay before Cameron Miller advanced to the 200m Quarterfinal.
The men's pole vault was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday but was postponed to Thursday at 9:30 a.m. due to the inclement weather.
Men's Notes
• Miller ran a 20.65 to win his heat and finished 7th overall in the First Round. The 200m Quarterfinal is scheduled for Friday at 7:50 p.m.
• Nolan Macklin (21.15) and Antoine Spencer (21.23) wrapped up their 200m season in 27th and 29th, respectively.
• Leo Maxwell concluded his season 31st in the region in the hammer throw (61.36m / 201-04).
• Cale Ayers finished his collegiate career with a 39th-place finish in the hammer throw (60.47m / 198-04).
• Douglas Buckeridge finished 44th in the 10,000m (31:05.31).
