The NFCA All-Region Teams were announced by the organization on Thursday afternoon, with Moriah Polar earning her first All-Region honor on the First Team, and Julia Gossett also earning her first on the Third team.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The NFCA All-Region Teams were announced by the organization on Thursday afternoon, with Moriah Polar earning her first All-Region honor on the First Team, and Julia Gossett also earning her first on the Third team.

In the Great Lakes Region, the Purdue honorees were joined by 24 other Big Ten players, making it the most widely represented conference in the honors.

Polar landed on the Great Lakes Region First Team after leading the Boilermaker offense with a .444 batting average and 68 hits during the 2025 season. Polar also earned two other first-career honors during the season, being recognized as a two-time Softball America top outfielder for the months of April and May, as well as being named Second-Team All-Big Ten.

Gossett also is a first-time recipient of the All-Region honor, after earning a spot on the Third Team. Gossett led the Boilermakers in strikeouts and innings pitched in the 2025 season, while earning other first-career honors such as Co-Big Ten Pitcher of the Week and Big Ten All-Tournament Team after her exceptional showing during the Big Ten conference tournament. Gossett not only earned a win over five-seeded Northwestern with a first-round upset, but hit four home runs in the tournament, tying the Big Ten Record.

Both honorees will move on to consideration by the NFCA selection committee for All-America honors.
