WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The 2025 spring season is set to begin for the Purdue men's tennis program with a pair of matches at the Schwartz Family Tennis Center this weekend. First, the Boilermakers will host Northern Illinois on Friday before taking on Dayton on Saturday. Both matches begin at 3 p.m. ET with free admission for fans.

2024 FALL SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Aleksa Krivokapic had an excellent fall, capturing the Big Ten individual singles title in November, marking a major milestone in his career at Purdue.
- In singles play at the Big Ten Individual Championships, two Boilermakers punched their ticket to the singles semifinals: Krivokapic and Juan David Velasquez, who advanced on a super tiebreak. Meanwhile, Purdue teammates faced off in the quarterfinals with Krivokapic taking on freshman Nour Fathalla (6-4, ret.) on Krivokapic's quest for the title.
- At the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships which Purdue hosted in October, the Boilermakers saw tremendous success in doubles, going undefeated on the opening day of the event while also sending four singles players on to the second round. Krivokapic and Juan David Velasquez each advanced out of the singles round of 32 before falling in the round of 16.
- Aleksa Krivokapic: Coming off his Big Ten Individual Singles title, Krivokapic wrapped up the fall with a team-leading 8-3 singles and 6-4 double record. During his Purdue career, the junior has amassed a 15-9 overall singles record and nine doubles wins, including a victory against a nationally-ranked duo in the fall.
- Stefan Simeunovich: Despite his sophomore status, Simeunovich owns 17 wins during his collegiate career, including 17 matches at the No. 1 position last spring.
- Nour Fathalla: As a freshman, Fatalla posted a 3-2 singles record during the fall, with just one loss to a non-Purdue player. Meanwhile, he went 3-2 in doubles, including a 2-1 record when paired with Mujtaba Ali-Khan at the Ohio Valley Regionals, which their lone loss came to the No. 8 nationally-ranked doubles tandem out of Kentucky.
- Juan David Velasquez: A steady presence for the Boilermakers, Velasquez posted 14 singles victories during the 23-24 campaign and posted a 4-2 record last fall. In doubles, the sophomore added two ranked doubles wins as well, marking the second straight year he's produced at least one victory against a nationally ranked doubles opponent.
