Holloway Opens Its Doors for 2 Preseason Scrimmages

Fans will be able to watch Purdue compete on Sunday, August 11 at 3 p.m. ET and Friday, August 23 at 6 p.m. ET. Admission is free for both events and a ticket is not required for entry.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue volleyball will host two intra-squad scrimmages in Holloway Gymnasium prior to the season beginning.
 
Fans will be able to watch Purdue compete on Sunday, August 11 at 3 p.m. ET and Friday, August 23 at 6 p.m. ET. Admission is free for both events and a ticket is not required for entry.

In addition, the Boilermakers will host an exclusive intra-squad scrimmage for Purdue Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) students on Thursday, August 15 to welcome newcomers to West Lafayette. The event will not be open to the public.
 
The 2024 season will begin at home with the Stacey Clark Classic on Friday, August 30 vs. K-State and will face six non-conference matchups vs. 2023 NCAA tournament teams before Big Ten action begins on Wednesday, September 25 vs. Penn State at home.
 
Single-match tickets remain available for four matches this fall: vs. UMBC (8/31), vs. UC Davis (9/1), vs. Indiana in Mackey Arena (10/19) and vs. Wisconsin in Mackey Arena (10/26).

Purdue (23-9, 15-5 Big Ten) finished third in the league standings last season and No. 13 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) final poll. Despite having one of the youngest squads in program history, Coach Shondell led the team to an NCAA Regional Semifinals appearance. Eva Hudson (second team), Chloe Chicoine (third team) and Raven Colvin (honorable mention) received All-America accolades while the team brought in a program-record-tying six Big Ten postseason honors, including two unanimous selections in Hudson and Chicoine.
