INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Purdue Football kicked off 2024 Big Ten Media Days at Lucas Oil Stadium on Tuesday (July 23) as seniors Hudson Card, Gus Hartwig and Kydran Jenkins joined head coach Ryan Walters to represent the Old Gold and Black. Other schools that joined Purdue on the first day were Illinois, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
The four Boilermakers dressed their best while meeting with the media and several television partners throughout the day to discuss the much-anticipated first year of the newly expanded 18-team Big Ten Conference.
Walters took the podium on the main stage to discuss what he learned in his first year as head coach as well as how the Boilermakers got better during the offseason. While most of the questions centered around football, the head coach was asked about a popular local diner for the second straight season.
Card, Hartwig and Jenkins all appeared together live on Big Ten Network to talk about their excitement ahead of the 2024 campaign as Purdue's senior leaders.
