No. 65 Purdue women's tennis will travel to Michigan to face the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. and the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines on Sunday, March 31 at noon.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – No. 65 Purdue women's tennis will travel to Michigan to face the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. and the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines on Sunday, March 31 at noon.
 
The Boilermakers are coming off a split Big Ten weekend, sweeping Penn State and falling to No. 13 Ohio State. At No. 1, the doubles pair of Carmen Gallardo Guevara/Tara Katarina Milic took down Penn State's No. 69 Karly Friedland/Olivia Dorner 7-5. Senior Csilla Fodor earned her first conference victory of the season at No. 3 against the Nittany Lions' Yvonne Zuffova. Purdue is now 9-6 this season with two Big Ten victories.
 
The Spartans have gone 9-9 this campaign and have yet to claim a Big Ten win. In MSU's most recent matches, the team fell to Rutgers and No. 58 Maryland. Michigan State currently has one ranked doubles team, No. 37 Nicole Conard/Ayshe Can. The pair has a record of 7-2 at No. 1. 
 
Michigan has earned a record of 16-3 this season and are undefeated against conference opponents. In doubles, the Wolverines have one ranked pair, No. 4 Jaedan Brown/Kari Miller with a record of 5-3 at No. 1. Michigan has six ranked singles players: No. 3 Kari Miller, No. 19 Julia Fliegner, No. 44 Gala Mesochoritou, No. 68 Lily Jones, No. 102 Jaedan Brown and No. 115 Piper Charney. At No. 1, Kari Miller has gone 8-4. This season, Miller, Flienger, Charney and Mesochoritou have all earned Big Ten Player of the Week at least once. Prior to facing Purdue, Michigan will battle Indiana on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m.
