Boilermakers Open Preseason Training

The Purdue soccer team opened its preseason training this week, with the first practice session of the 2023 season on Tuesday, August 1.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue soccer team opened its preseason training this week, with the first practice session of the 2023 season on Tuesday, August 1.
 
The Boilermakers will play their first game, an exhibition contest, on August 9. The regular season commences on August 17 against No. 24 UCF with the annual Boiler Gold Rush season-opener at 7 p.m. ET at Folk Field. Other marquee events at Folk Field include the Alumnae Reunion Weekend on September 17 as Big Ten play commences vs. Northwestern, and the team's annual Hammer Down Cancer game is on October 12 against Penn State.

The 2023 campaign marks the 26th season of Purdue Soccer. It is the team's 25th year in the Big Ten after a non-conference-only inaugural year in 1998. This also marks the ninth season under head coach Drew Roff.

Admission will be free for all fans to every regular-season home game at Folk Field once again in 2023.
