Purdue Finishes Season Ranked 10th Nationally in Attendance

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For the first time in 40 years, the Purdue men's basketball program ranked in the top 10 for average attendance in numbers released recently by the NCAA.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For the first time in 40 years, the Purdue men's basketball program ranked in the top 10 for average attendance in numbers released recently by the NCAA.
 
The Boilermakers sold out all 16 of their home games, averaging 14,876 fans for the season, setting a new school record for average attendance and ranking 10th nationally – their highest finish since also finishing 10th during the 1982-83 season (13,472 fans per game).
 
Purdue was one of eight schools nationally to sell out every game (Gonzaga, Houston, Xavier, Purdue, Kansas, Dayton, Duke, Auburn) and owns the fourth-longest home sellout streak in the country (Duke, Kansas, Gonzaga, Purdue).
 
The Boilermakers will carry a 57-game sellout streak into the 2023-24 season, selling out every game since Jan. 15, 2019.
 
Purdue posted 100 percent capacities in men's basketball, football and volleyball, the only school in America to accomplish that feat.
