ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Purdue track & field team will compete against a trio of Big Ten opponents at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday, January 21, at the U-M Indoor Track Building in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The meet commences with the 60m hurdle prelims and six field events at 11 a.m. ET. The final event, the 4x400 relay, is at 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: FOUR TOP-10 MARKS, 14 WINS
Four top-10 times in school history and four event wins for the Boilermakers highlighted the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational on January 14 in Chicago.
Fifth-year Justin Becker and sophomore Brett Otterbacher each notched victories with times that rank in the top six in the Boilermaker record books. Otterbacher ran the second-fastest 600-meter time, in 1:17.52, while Becker won the 60m final with the No. 6-fastest time of 6.69.
Junior Deborah Obadofin earned her second consecutive long jump win to begin the season and sophomore Praise Aniamaka added a win in the triple jump. Sophomore Nathan Walker and freshman Zachary Evans both registered top-10 times, in the mile and 60m prelim, respectively.

The Purdue track & field team returns to the state of Michigan, and the Simmons-Harvey Invite, for the first time since the 2021 season opener. At the January 16 event, then-senior Curt Eckstein broke the school record in the 3,000m, while then-sophomore Jayla Ellis and then-freshman K'Ja Talley added top-10 marks of their own.
