The Boilermakers picked up an 87-78 win over Syracuse in the final year of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Lasha Petree dropped a season-high 31 points on the night, while Jayla Smith added 12 off the bench. The Boilermakers shot 54.1% from the field on the night, with 54 points coming in the paint. Purdue built its lead to as many as 21 in the third quarter before the Orange rallied to pull within single digits late in the fourth. A key Abbey Ellis 3-pointer and back-to-back and-ones by Petree and Caitlyn Harper sealed the win for the Boilermakers.
