WEST LAFAYTTE, Ind. – The Purdue Wrestling program has announced date changes for the upcoming home duals against Indiana and Nebraska. The matchup with the Hoosiers will move from Saturday, Jan. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 29 and the meeting with the Cornhuskers will do the opposite, moving from Sunday, Feb. 5 to Saturday, Feb. 4.

The rivalry dual with Indiana moves from Saturday, Jan. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 29 to allow fans of wrestling throughout the state to attend their local high school state sectional competitions that are scheduled for that Friday and Saturday. Those same fans would then be free on Sunday to attend the annual intrastate matchup, of which the Boilermakers have won the last 12 meetings.

The Big Ten battle with Nebraska changes dates from Sunday, Feb. 5 to Saturday, Feb. 4 at the request of the Cornhuskers. Head coach Tony Ersland's squad took an 18-15 win over Nebraska in Lincoln last season. It was the first top-10 dual win for the program since 2004.

The Boilermakers will next take the mat in the Purdue Duals on Tuesday, December 20. The second quad of the season will see the team take on Utah Valley, Drexel and Campbell in Holloway Gymnasium.
