Purdue ran to a 90-61 victory over Murray State on Sunday afternoon. Lasha Petree paced the Boilermakers with 23 points. Caitlyn Harper and Madison Layden added 17 and 15 points, respectively. The Boilermakers shot a blistering 50.7% from the field and went 9-for-21 from behind the arc. Led by a non-point double-double by Jeanae Terry with 10 assists, Purdue dished out 25 assists on 35 made field goals.

• Purdue leads the all-time series with SIUE 2-0.
• Purdue held both of its early season opponents to 61 points. The Boilermakers are 1-of-3 teams from the Big Ten to face with a winning record from 2021-22 in their first two games (Ohio State - Tennessee/Boston College, Penn State - Norfolk State/Fairfield).
• Jeanae Terry is the first Boilermaker to have a double-double in consecutive games since Fatou Diagne in 2020-21.
• Madison Layden has had a solid start to the year with 14 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game.
• Former Purdue head coach Carolyn Peck, who guided the Boilermakers to the 1999 NCAA National Championship, was named a finalist for the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2023. The official induction class will be announced Nov. 27.
• Terry is the first player in Purdue history to record multiple non-point double-doubles.
