WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Big Ten and Big East Conferences have revealed that Purdue will host Marquette in Mackey Arena as part of the Gavitt Games, it was announced Friday morning.
The game will be played Nov. 15, with network times and designations announced at a later date.
It marks Purdue's fourth appearance in the Gavitt Games and third straight game against Marquette. The Boilermakers are 1-2 in the series between the Big Ten and the Big East, having lost to Villanova in 2016, defeated Marquette in 2017 and lost to Marquette in 2019.
The announced game is the third game on Purdue's schedule, having previously announced games with Florida State (ACC / Big Ten Challenge) and Davidson (Indy Classic). The Boilermakers will also compete in the elite Phil Knight Legacy Tournament in Portland over Thanksgiving.
