Make A Contribution
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University's campus-wide crowdfunding effort, Purdue Day of Giving, has officially launched on Wednesday, April 27. With more than 70 units across campus participating, this initiative aims to continue building a better, stronger and more affordable Purdue.
The day-long collaborative experience includes highlighting Purdue Athletics' 18 sport programs, numerous coaches and department personnel.
For 24 hours, students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends rally to make contributions which will inevitably create opportunities and transform experiences for current and future students. Through hourly challenges and interactive leaderboards, participants in Purdue Day of Giving are motivated to support their favorite campus, college, school, program, or unit to help them get to the top.
This year, Purdue Athletics will be promoting three funds; the Leroy Keyes Athletics Leadership Fellowship, John Purdue Club scholarships, and Varsity P for athletics alumni.
Gifts toward the Leroy Keyes Athletics Leadership Fellowship will earn double John Purdue Club (JPC) priority points – two points per $100 – and will further assist in commemorating the lasting impact of longtime administrator, All-American, and Purdue Football alumnus Leroy Keyes. Please note, contributions toward this initiative do not count toward a John Purdue Club annual membership.
Additionally, the chance to earn double priority points ahead of the April 30 deadline provides a unique opportunity for JPC members participating in the 2022 Mackey Arena reseat to bolster their ranking ahead of the cutoff, at which point rankings for seat selections will be locked.
Opportunities to make a contribution toward a membership in support of student-athlete scholarships will also be highlighted through the John Purdue Club, as well as Varsity P. JPC members can renew or upgrade their memberships ahead of the April 30 membership deadline.
