WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Alexander Field will host another Sunday doubleheader at 1 p.m. ET after Purdue and Ohio State were unable to play Saturday due to forecasted RealFeel temperatures not reaching the league's threshold.
Big Ten Conference rules dictate that the RealFeel temperature must be at least 28 degrees to be able to start a game.
Fans with tickets for Saturday's game can exchange them for Sunday. One ticket is good for both/either game of a doubleheader. However, reentry is not permitted between games of a doubleheader. Another ticket would need to be purchased if fans exit the ballpark and would like to return for the nightcap.
The $1 general admission tickets for service personnel promotion has been rescheduled for Sunday, which also features the traditional Family 4-Pack ticket special.
Throughout the season, tickets for any canceled/postponed games can be exchanged for general admission seats for any future home game at Alexander (excluding the April 8-10 series vs. Indiana). So if fans are unable to attend Sunday vs. Ohio State, they have options for additional home dates to use their tickets.
Sunday will be No. 17 Purdue's fifth doubleheader over the first six weekends of the season. The Boilermakers have been unable to play on a Saturday since March 5 in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
