WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue baseball's midweek game vs. Northern Illinois this week at Alexander Field has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 5 due to consistent rain in the forecast.
Both teams had Tuesday, April 5 as open dates in their midweek slates so the make up date was agreed upon, which is not always the case for midweek non-conference games.
Fans with tickets for Tuesday can use those tickets on April 5 or exchange them for general admission seats to any future home date (excluding the April 8-10 weekend series). Throughout the season, tickets for any postponed/canceled games can be exchanged for GA seats for most future home dates.
The $3 midweek specials for Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday games include $3 GA tickets, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and domestic draft beers.
The Boilermakers return to action Friday when they host Ohio State in the Big Ten Conference opener for both teams. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. ET. At 17-1, No. 17 Purdue will carry its best record into league play in the modern era of the program.'
