NORMAL, Ill. -- Game 2 of the Purdue-Illinois State split-site series has been canceled due to rain forecasted throughout the day in Central Illinois.
The four-game series moves to Alexander Field in West Lafayette for games on Saturday and Sunday. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET both days. No doubleheaders are currently planned.
Illinois State won the series opener 4-3 in 11 innings Thursday, snapping the Boilermakers' 16-game win streak.
Purdue has not hosted the Redbirds since April 2015.
