WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 15 Purdue wrestling team concludes its regular season and Big Ten dual slate Saturday, traveling to face No. 23 Northwestern at Welsh Ryan Arena. The dual is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. ET start and will air live on the Big Ten Network as the Boilermakers head into the matchup at 10-4 overall and 4-3 in conference action.
PURDUE LINEUP & RANKINGS
Purdue checks in at No. 15 in this week's NWCA Coaches Poll, it's fifth top-15 ranking of the season and Seven of the 10 Purdue starters earned a spot in the second NCAA Coaches Panel Rankings, released Friday, Feb. 11, while eight Boilermakers earned Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings. Devin Schroder headlined the list with top-10 marks in both polls at 125 pounds, while Kendall Coleman just missed with a No. 11 mark from the coaches at 157 pounds.

Purdue picked up their 10th dual win of the season and fourth in Big Ten competition, earning an 18-14 victory over visiting Minnesota on February 6 in Holloway Gymnasium. The Boilermakers snapped a streak of 12 straight losses to the Golden Gophers, dating to 2004, winning 6-of-10 weights, including wins over higher-ranked opponents at 125, 133, 165 and 184.

• Head coach Tony Ersland is in his eighth season at Purdue and is 67-54 in dual competition with the Boilermakers.
• Ersland wrestled for the University of Iowa from 1992-97, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament at 177, and competing on the highest scoring team at the NCAA Championships in history (170).

• Michael Woulfe is wrestling his first collegiate season since 2016 after serving in the United States Navy for the last five years and has picked up right where he left off, adding a team-high six falls to his career total (30) after posting 17 falls in his final year at Navy.

• The Wildcats enter the weekend ranked 23rd in the NWCA Coaches Dual Rankings, at 6-4 overall and 3-4 in Big Ten competition.
• Northwestern has won four straight duals, including a 24-16 victory over Michigan State last Friday. The Wildcats won 6-of-10 weights, scoring bonus points at 157, 174 and 285 pounds.
• The Wildcats have ranked starters at six weights, including second-ranked senior Ryan Deakin at 157 pounds, ninth-ranked Chris Cannon at 133 and No. 10 heavyweight Lucas Davison.
