The Purdue women's tennis team advanced 4-0 on the year with a 7-0 win over Bowling Green at the Schwartz Tennis Center on Saturday. This is the Boilermakers third consecutive sweep.   

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –  The Purdue women's tennis team advanced 4-0 on the year with a 7-0 win over Bowling Green at the Schwartz Tennis Center on Saturday. This is the Boilermakers third consecutive sweep. 

Csilla Fodor and Tara Katarina Milic put Purdue ahead to start the doubles match with a 6-0 sweep over Laura Maia Silveira and Ioanna Tsadari. No. 3 Juana Larranaga and Carmen Gallardo Guevara sealed the point at 6-3 over Bowling Green's Florencia Fuentes and Maru Poppe. 

Rut Galindo captured the first singles point to improve Purdue to 2-0 with a sweep of Maru Poppe. Carmen Gallardo Guevara followed by defeating Ioanna 6-2, 6-2 to add to Purdue's tally. 

Purdue bettered its score with wins at No. 6, 1, and 3 with Tara Katarina Milic outlasting Annika Vetter at 7-5, 6-4. 

Juana Larranaga entered the final singles point to close out the match with a 7-0 sweep over Bowling Green.

The Boilermakers will return to the Schwartz Tennis Center tomorrow for a noon match against Saint Louis.
