WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Citing the health and safety of student-athletes, staff and fans, the Purdue women's basketball game scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 30, at Wisconsin will not be played due to COVID-19 protocols within the Badgers' program.
Purdue and Wisconsin will actively work with the Big Ten Conference to find a date to reschedule the game.
The Boilermakers will face Rutgers at Mackey Arena on Sunday, Jan. 2, at 2 p.m.
Information regarding how this game will be treated in relation to the Big Ten Conference 2021-22 Forfeiture Policy will be announced in the coming days.
