WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's basketball team is set to face Georgia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wednesday at Mackey Arena. Head coach Katie Gearlds will stand opposite of former Boilermaker head coach and current Yellow Jacket leader Nell Fortner when the ball goes up at 7 p.m.
Purdue Hall of Fame inductee, 1999 national champion and Boilermaker legend Stephanie White will provide analysis alongside Chris Vosters' play-by-play for the Big Ten Network.
Tim Newton and Jane Schott will be on the call courtside for the Purdue Sports Network on 95.3 BOB FM.

Purdue snapped a 19-game skid against ranked opponents with a 66-61 win over No. 17/22 Florida State. The Boilermakers built a 26-10 lead, before suffering the only scoreless quarter in program history. Despite giving up a 27-0 run, Purdue outscored the Seminoles 40-28 in the second half to overcome an 11-point deficit. Cassidy Hardin earned St. Pete Showcase All-Tournament Team after setting a career high with 18 points and six 3-pointers against the Seminoles.

• The Boilermakers are 2-1 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, splitting the last two contests in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
• Purdue will look to improve upon its 3-11 all-time mark in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Gearlds is the third coach to lead Purdue into the annual event.
• Fortner is the second former head coach to face Purdue. The Boilermakers defeated Marsha Reall, head coach for the 1986-87 season, twice when she was at Ohio during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 campaigns.
• Cassidy Hardin has been lights out from distance shooting 44% from deep with 3.1 3-pointers per game this season.

• Sophomore Madison Layden leads the Boilermakers in scoring (13), rebounding (6.1), minutes played (35.8) and steals (1.7).
• Four Boilermakers are averaging double-digit scoring – Layden with 13 ppg, Ra Shaya Kyle with 12.1 ppg, Abbey Ellis with 10.1 ppg and Hardin with 10 ppg.
• Kyle picked up her second double-double of the season with a 13-point, 10-rebound outing against Florida State. She sits second on the team in scoring and rebounding.
