Ava Learn checked in at the end of the first half to stymie an attempt to tie the game on last second shot.

QUOTE
Head coach Katie Gearlds
Gutsy win on the road. We weren't great, but we found a way to win. At the end of the day, that's what matters. First win on the road with six new kids and we've been together for seven weeks, there's going to be a time when we can't use that excuse anymore, but we'll take the win and head back home.
