 WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For the second straight week, the Purdue women's tennis team will shed its cold-weather gear for the sunny shores of Florida, as the team travels to the FGCU Collegiate Open at the Bonita Bay Club.

 WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For the second straight week, the Purdue women's tennis team will shed its cold-weather gear for the sunny shores of Florida, as the team travels to the FGCU Collegiate Open at the Bonita Bay Club.

The Boilermakers will square off with host FGCU, Notre Dame and Colorado over three days in a hidden-dual format.

Purdue opens against FGCU on Friday at 4 p.m., followed by a 12:30 p.m. tilt against Notre Dame on Saturday, before finishing the weekend at 9 a.m. Sunday against Colorado.

The Boilermakers play their second straight weekend in Florida following aa solid outing at the FIU Invite last weekend in Miami. The Boilermakers claimed 14 of 18 contested singles matches over the three days against USF, FIU and FAU.

Csilla Fodor has continued her impressive form in singles play, with an 11-1 record to start the year, with her only defeat in the semifinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional. Eight of her 11 wins have come in straight sets.

Rut Galindo and Carmen Gallardo Guevara are second this fall in singles wins with eight each. Senior Seira Shimizu enters the weekend with a 6-3 singles mark.

In doubles, Purdue continues to shift matchups looking for the perfect pairings. Through three tournaments this fall, the Boilermakers have featured 14 different doubles tandems.
