WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue soccer team is No. 19 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 and ranked for a fifth consecutive week.

Winners of three in a row and six of their last seven, with three consecutive shutouts, the Boilermakers are 14-3-2 on the season after a 1-0 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Quarterfinal on Sunday. Purdue's 14 wins are tied for its second-most in a single season in program history.

The Boilermakers were No. 18 nationally the last two weeks, No. 19 on October 12 and No. 25 on October 5, when they made their return to the polls for the first time since 2009.

This week's poll sets up a top-20 matchup in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinal on Thursday, as second-seeded Purdue faces No. 13-ranked and third-seeded Michigan in a 4 p.m. ET contest in Piscataway, New Jersey, on the Big Ten Network.

The Old Gold and Black remain at No. 3 in the North Region ranking and No. 18 in the latest NCAA RPI. Purdue also is No. 15 in the College Soccer News Top 30 Poll and No. 20 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings.

The last time the Boilermakers appeared in the national poll prior to this season was when they entered the 2009 NCAA Tournament ranked No. 24.

One of three Big Ten teams in this week's poll, the Boilermakers are joined by No. 4 Rutgers and No. 13 Michigan, while Penn State is receiving votes. Additionally, non-conference opponent Notre Dame also is receiving votes.

Purdue and Michigan meet in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinal on Thursday, November 4, at 4 p.m. ET. The Big Ten Network will air the contest, played in Piscataway, New Jersey. Top-seeded Rutgers will host the semifinal and final, as the Scarlet Knights play No. 5-seed Iowa in Thursday's first semifinal.
