Purdue vs. Iowa State Ticket Lottery Opens Friday

ickets for Purdue wrestling's December 19 date with Iowa State University will be in high demand.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Tickets for Purdue wrestling's December 19 date with Iowa State University will be in high demand, and will be made available via a lottery drawing that opens Friday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. ET. The Humboldt Wildcat Wrestling Club will be hosting and promoting the lottery, and proceeds from the event will go to their local youth club.
 
Purdue wrestling head coach Tony Ersland and Iowa State head coach Kevin Dresser are both alumni of Humboldt High School in north central Iowa, approximately 90 minutes north of Ames, Iowa. Both went on to wrestle at the University of Iowa, and proceeded to go into the NCAA Division I coaching ranks.
 
The dual is scheduled for a 5 p.m. CT start, and Humboldt High School's gymnasium seats approximately 1,300 fans. Given the capacity at this venue, a ticket lottery will take place for the general public, wanting to purchase tickets. The Lottery opens Friday, October 15th, at 8am CST, Closes Friday, October 29th at 5 p.m. CT. The Lottery registration form will be available on the Humboldt Wildcat Wrestling Club facebook page.
 
The (1st) lottery drawing will take place on Monday, November 1st and those selected will be notified by email and have until Friday, November 5th to purchase tickets via the secure buyer's link. If any tickets remain, another (2nd) lottery may take place selecting additional registrants who have completed the lottery registration form.
 
All tickets will be general admission, with lower level pricing $30 (plus fees) and upper level $25 (plus fees).
