WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – After three weeks off, the full Purdue men's tennis team returns to action this weekend at the Louisville Invitational. The event runs Oct. 15-17 at the bass-Rudd Tennis center.
Purdue will square up against host Louisville, Bellarmine, East Tennessee State, Indiana and Kentucky across three singles flights and two doubles draws.
Athell Bennett will compete in his fourth tournament of the fall, after receiving a bid at the ITA All-American Championships in early October. Rohan Sachdev owns the top singles record on the young season with a 5-1 mark, followed closely by fellow rookie Julen Morgan.
In doubles, Bennett and Sachdev enter the weekend with a perfect 3-0 mark after taking all three matches at the Purdue Invite in September.
The Louisville Invitational opens Friday morning at 9 a.m. with two singles rounds and one doubles match. A recap of each day will be posted to PurdueSports.com.
