MEDINAH, Ill. - Purdue Women's Golf held the team lead after two rounds at the Illini Invitational on the No. 2 course of the Medinah Country Club, but a surging Louisville program, back six strokes, and a pesky No. 11 Georgia squad, trailing by one stroke, snuck past the Boilermakers during third-round action on Tuesday (Oct. 12).

The third-place finish for head coach Devon Brouse and his squad featured impressive performances by the whole lineup, with all five Boilermakers carding at least one round under-par during the two-day event held in the suburbs of Chicago.

Most prolific were two Top-10 performances recorded by sophomore Ashley Kozlowski (Littleton, Colorado) and senior Thitapa Pakdeesettakul (Songkhla, Thailand). Kozlowski improved each round at the event, shooting 73-70-68 to finish with a team-best 211 total and a tie for sixth-place.

Pakdeesettakul, in her first action of the 2021-22 season, recorded a 69-73-70--212 to finish one stroke off of Kozlowski's pace and in a tie for 10th-place.
