WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Boilermaker fans will have an opportunity for an exciting afternoon and evening at Ross-Ade Stadium on Friday, Aug. 6, with Purdue Football opening up its practice to the public. The free event, presented by Wabash National Huston Electric, has a special family-friendly bonus, as a movie will be played on the stadium's new videoboard following the conclusion of practice.
Stadium gates A and F will open at 5 p.m. with a two-hour practice set to begin at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to park in Lot R to the north of Ross-Ade. The movie, Remember The Titans, will begin playing at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to enjoy concessions on the east side of the stadium, as well as on the Purdue For Life Patio in the south end zone. Alcohol sales will be permitted during the event, as well.
Fans are encouraged to visit the Purdue For Life Patio throughout Friday's festivities, as group sales and game-by-game ticket options for the premium seating area are still available for the upcoming season.
The Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office will be open from 5-7 p.m. for fans wishing to purchase season or single-game tickets.
