WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue women's tennis junior Csilla Fodor continued her recent run in the ITA Summer Circuit by taking the singles title at the Grace College edition last week.
On the heels of her doubles title at the Summer Circuit event at Northwestern in June with teammate Jamilah Snells, Fodor rolled through the singles event in Winona Lake without dropping a set.
Fodor dispatched Isabelle Behrmann, a sophomore at Ball State, in straight frames 6-0, 6-2, before a 6-0, 6-2 win against Jamie Hurst to punch her ticket to the finals. The rising junior claimed the singles trophy with a 6-2, 6-4 victory against Madelyn Bemisderfer.
With the win, Fodor now ranks No. 66 in the Universal Tennis Rating World College Rankings and No. 966 in the world, per UTR.
