Day 2 of NCAA Regional Wiped Out by Weather

BATON ROUGE, La. – The second day of the NCAA Regional schedule for Tuesday in Baton Rouge has been postponed until Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET. Thunderstorms, lightning and unplayable condition's at LSU's University Club wiped out another day of competition for the 18 teams and six individuals scheduled to participate.

BATON ROUGE, La. – The second day of the NCAA Regional scheduled for Tuesday in Baton Rouge has been postponed until Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET. Thunderstorms, lightning and unplayable condition's at LSU's University Club wiped out another day of competition for the 18 teams and six individuals scheduled to participate.
 
The teams and individuals will play as many holes as possible Wednesday to complete at least one round of 18. Per the NCAA Participant Manual, the regional must end Wednesday night. There will not be an extension of play into Thursday or Friday.
 
The Boilermakers are playing in their 24th regional and looking to advance to their 19th all-time NCAA Championship.
