The Boilermakers took a game during their series at Illinois last weekend. A trio of Boilermakers hit over .300 on the weekend – Ryleigh Scott's .400, Rachel Beckers' .357 and Kiley Goff's .300. A pair of Boilermakers hit their first career home runs in Kaeley Hallada and Kaitlyn Brannstrom.

Per usual, Becker continues to rank among the Big Ten's best hitters this season. The junior is second in batting average at .416, sixth in slugging percentage at .618, on-base percentage at .485, runs scored at 22, hits with 37 and doubles with 10.

NOTES
• Purdue leads the all-time series 33-20 over the Spartans. The two sides have not met since March 2017, when Purdue swept a three-game set at Bittinger Stadium.
• Purdue has won six of the last seven against Michigan State.
Sydney Bates improved to 3-0 out of the bullpen this season with a team-high 25 1/3 innings in relief.
• Becker took her multi-hit tally up to 14 games on the year.
• Brannstrom's first home run came as a part of a career day, going 3-for-3 with three RBI in the series finale.
Kiley Goff saw her on-base streak snap last weekend at a team-long 12 games last weekend.
• The Boilermakers have scored 50 of their 81 total runs in the fifth inning or later.
• 51 of Purdue's runs have been scored by players in the top four spots of the order.
• Brannstrom has found her stride lately with a .304 clip and seven RBI over the last eight games.
