WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's tennis team will look to take advantage of some beautiful spring weather to build on their two-match win streak. The Boilermakers will travel to take on No. 18 Michigan on Saturday in their only match this weekend. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 ET.

Zeynep Naz Ozturk notched her first singles victory on the 2021 season on Saturday against Maryland's Ebony Sampson by a score of 4-6, 6-3, 10-5. Additionally, Zala Dovnik claimed her first victory against a ranked opponent this season, dominating Maryland's No. 84 Eva Alexandrova at No. 2 6-3, 6-1. Rut Galindo's win at No. 4 sealed the victory for Purdue over Maryland last Saturday by a score of 5-2.
Purdue remained home on Sunday to take on Rutgers. Ena Babic and Csilla Fodor maintained their dominance in doubles play on their way to claiming the doubles point, edging Maya Jacobs and Chloe Brown 7-5. Singles wins by Ena Babic, Zala Dovnik, and Rut Galindo at No. 1, No. 3, and No. 4 clinched the 4-1 win against Rutgers.

- Rut Galindo improved to 8-8 in overall singles play with two wins last weekend.
- Nathalia Wolf Gasparin and Rut Galindo topped Maryland's Zoe Kulkarni and Adela Josefova 6-4 at No. 2 in their first match as a duo this season.
- Purdue looks to end a nine match series losing streak against Michigan on Saturday.
- No. 18 Michigan was undefeated in Big Ten play before falling in a close contest against rival No. 9 Ohio State last Sunday. Michigan's only other loss came against No. 6 Duke.
- Michigan holds two ranked singles players in No. 43 Kari Miller and No. 105 Jaedan Brown. Brown's pairing with Chiara Lommer makes up the No. 36 duo in the nation.
