EVANSTON, Ill. – The Purdue women's team fell Saturday afternoon in a road contest against No. 7 Northwestern 4-0. Playing clinch-clinch, the Boilermakers had a trio of tightly contested singles bouts that went unfinished.
After Northwestern started doubles with a 6-2 win at No. 3, the Boilermakers dropped the opening point as Nathalia Wolf Gasparin and Zala Dovnik were narrowly edged by Clarissa and Christina Hand 6-4 at No. 2.
