WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Big Ten Network's pay-per-view video streaming platform BTN+ is the best way to watch Purdue swimming & diving in action as conference competition begins.
Purdue swimming & diving had hoped to be able to admit parents to the mezzanine level of the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center for home meets, but ultimately it was decided that all indoor areas at the aquatic center would be utilized as team space in order to provide a safe and socially distanced environment in an effort to comply with campus and Big Ten COVID-19 protocols.
Arrangements have been made to offer live video streams on BTN+ of Purdue's home meets on Jan. 16 and Feb. 6. Live video coverage of the Jan. 23 meet at Wisconsin is now confirmed and is also available via BTN+. Video streams of the Big Ten Championships in late February/early March will also be offered on BTN+ again this season.
BTN+ was formerly known as BTN2Go and is available as both web and mobile applications. The PPV platform is also compatible with most of the top video streaming devices, including Roku, Google Chromecast and Amazon FireTV.
Subscription plans for BTN+ include…
1.) $9.95 Monthly School Pass – Includes all Purdue events (across all sports) on BTN+, including the Big Ten Championships.
2.) $14.95 Monthly Conference Pass – Includes all events on BTN+, regardless of the school or team competing.
Purdue swimming & diving fans are advised to subscribe to the BTN+ monthly school pass from Jan. 15 to March 15. For $20 they can watch both home meets and all Big Ten Championships action. Those events will be available on BTN+ live and on-demand.
Purdue Athletics will continue to offer live results of the action at all home meets for free via swimming's live results page here at PurdueSports.com and at DiveMeets.com for diving scores. The teams' Twitter accounts also provides live updates during meets. PurdueSports.com features all the post-meet information and multimedia as well.
