Moore stamped his name in the Purdue record books in just his second collegiate meet, has he ran the 60-meter final in 6.72 seconds to place third overall. It was the third top-10 time in school history set by the Boilermakers at the meet, after two times were recorded in the women's 200-meter dash yesterday.

Including Moore's performance, the Boilermakers earned 11 top-10 finishes on Saturday and three personal-best times were set. Along with the three top-10 times in school history, Purdue notched 17 top-10 finishes and set 11 PRs at the two-day meet. The star-studded Razorback Invite featured seven top-25 women's teams and six top-25 men's squads, including four of the top-six women's teams and three of the top-seven men's teams in the nation

"I am really excited about this weekend's performances, particularly on our men's side," Purdue coach Norbert Elliott said. "I thought that we had scoring in a number of areas, which shows that we are a very well-rounded team. We had scores in the throws, in the jumps, in the distances and in the sprints, so I'm really pleased about that. On the women's side, we had somewhat of a balanced scoring, but not as well as the men. They're continuing to get better. Holistically, the women definitely performed much better than last week. We're nearing the peak of the season right now, and I'm excited that we're rounding into good form."

Moore's third-place finish in the final was the third time he set a mark today that ranked inside the top-10 fastest times in school history. He began the meet with a time of 6.79 seconds in the qualifying round, tied for 10th-fastest all-time. Up next in the prelims, it was a time of 6.74 that was tied for eighth-fastest. He secured sole possession of No. 8 on the top times list with a 6.72 in the finals.

Senior Samson Colebrooke also advanced to the finals in the 60-meter dash and finished fourth overall in 6.74 seconds, just behind Moore. That would be tied for ninth-fastest in program history if Colebrooke didn't already own the third-fastest time, at 6.65. Colebrooke also was sixth overall in Friday's 200-meter dash.

Purdue's top finisher on Saturday was freshman Meagan Hathaway, who won the 3,000-meter open event with a personal-best time of 9:43.08. She finished ahead of junior teammate Megan Slamkowski, who was seventh overall in 9:53.31, also a PR.

Three Boilermakers placed third overall in addition to Moore: Senior Jaret Carpenter in the 3,000-meter invitational (8:01.67), junior Jalil Brewer in the shot put (18.88 meters) and junior Tamar Greene in the triple jump (15.89 meters).

Carpenter, Hathaway and Slamkowski were three of five to place in the top seven of the 3,000-meter event. Sophomore Tyler Bowling was sixth in the open event (8:22.54), and junior Curt Eckstein was seventh in the invitational (8:06.50).

Senior Jah Strange added a sixth-place finish in the triple jump, with a mark of 15.47 meters. It was his second top-10 finish of the weekend, following a 10th-place finish in the long jump on Friday. Additionally, freshman Kerris Roberts was fourth overall in the qualifying round and ninth in the prelims of the 60-meter dash, with a top time of 7.52 seconds.

Sophomore Garrett Lee (heptathlon, 4,658 points) and freshman Ellie Tate (800-meter, 2:12.09) also notched personal-record times on Saturday.

The Purdue men placed eighth overall out of 13 teams, with 37 points. No. 4 Texas won the meet with 79 points. The Boilermakers placed ahead of two top-30 teams: No. 29 Oklahoma (9th, 33 points) and No. 24 Missouri (12th, 15 points). The Purdue women were 13th, with seven points. No. 6 LSU won the women's title with 96 points.

On Friday's opening day of competition, a pair of top-10 times in Purdue history were set, by Roberts and sophomore Camille Christopher in the 200-meter dash. Roberts recorded the eighth-fastest time in team history, with a 24.29, while Christopher's 24.29 is the ninth-fastest in the record books. Additionally, the Boilermakers earned six more personal-record marks and recorded six top-10 finishes.
