WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue head football coach Jeff Brohm announced the signing of 14 players during the early signing period Wednesday.
The signing class is comprised of four offensive linemen, three defensive backs, two wide receivers, a pair of linebackers and one defensive lineman, running back and tight end. They hail from 10 different states - Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
"I am really excited about this recruiting class! We were very selective in who we signed and focused on quality over just quantity. We also have left plenty of room to add players throughout the spring and summer, whether they be high school prospects or transfers. As we have demonstrated over the past several years, all of our signees will be given the opportunity to get on the field early, and we have a proven track record of our freshmen and newcomers excelling at a high level. This group of signees will have an immediate impact on our program," Brohm said. "I want to thank our coaches and recruiting staff for their efforts in making this class a reality, and I especially want to thank all of our recruits and their families for their patience and flexibility as we all had to adapt and adjust to the challenges that have been facing us all. We look forward to this group arriving on campus and can't wait to get to work."
