WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Below is the latest update from Purdue Athletics on CoVid-19 testing. Tests include student-athletes, coaches and Intercollegiate Athletics staff.
- Total tests administered (since June 8): 573
- Positive tests: 35
- Active cases: 8
- No hospitalizations have been required; those testing positive were generally asymptomatic or minor symptoms resolved within a few days.
- Contact tracing has taken place, with those impacted quarantining and / or self-monitoring per current public health guidelines.
- Purdue Athletics continues daily medical check-ins and monitoring of those in isolation and quarantine.
