WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.
– Incoming freshman Jocelyn Bruch finished second at the Golfweek Midwest Collegiate on the Kampen Course on Purdue's campus Friday. The Carmel, Indiana native ended up with runner-up honors after falling in a four-hole playoff with Minnesota's Grace Curren.

Bruch, who will enroll at Purdue for the fall semester, carded a 2-over par 74 in the third and final round to finish the 54-hole tournament with final score of 1-over 217. She shot 1-over 73 in the opening 18 and fired a 2-under 70 in the second.

After the second-place showing at the Midwest Classic, Bruch appears to have taken a liking to her new home courses. She won the Indiana Women's Golf Association Match Play Championship on the Ackerman-Allen Course earlier this month.

Fellow incoming freshman classmate Ashley Kozlowski finished fourth overall at the Midwest Class with a three-round tally of 3-over par 219. Returning freshman Daniella Ballesteros tied for ninth in the standings with a 54-hole score of 229.
