WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue wrestling head coach Tony Ersland announced the addition of four more members to his 2020 recruiting class Thursday, welcoming Mitch Hutmacher, Dorian Keys, Trey Kruse and Macartney Parkinson to the Boilermaker family. The quartet pushes the Boilermakers' list of new additions to seven as they join fall signees Gerrit Nijenhuis, Cooper Noehre and Jake Rundell, rounding out a group that has been ranked as one of the nation's top-25 classes by three different publications.
Ersland's class was ranked No. 13 by FloWrestling, No. 20 by InterMat and No. 22 by MatScouts, marking his fourth top-25 ranked recruiting class in the last five seasons.
"I'm incredibly pleased with this class and can't wait for these guys to all join us on campus," said Ersland. "Adding these four guys to the three who signed in the fall makes me really excited to get them all in the room. These guys are all outstanding wrestlers, they address some needs for us and will be fantastic additions to the culture we're continuing to build."
