WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Jett Jackson is the player guest on episode 4 of This Week in Purdue Baseball, the program's web series and podcast featuring head coach Greg Goff.
Jackson impressed in his March 1 start vs. No. 23 North Carolina, pitching six innings of one-hit ball. He registered five strikeouts vs. one walk and the only hit he surrendered was a 1-out single in the first inning. Player guests are featured in segment 2 of the weekly show.
Goff recaps the Boilermakers' tough weekend in Minneapolis while also discussing the Indiana-Purdue rivalry to preview Wednesday's midweek opener in Bloomington. Goff and Jackson both look ahead to weekend No. 4, a three-game series at Western Kentucky. Jackson's hometown (Burns, Tennessee) is 100 miles from WKU's campus in Bowling Green so a large contingent of Dickson County fans are planning to make the trip north for Sunday's game.
This Week in Purdue Baseball features the lighthearted segments "Know Your Boilermakers," "Getting Personal" and "Who Said It." The podcast version of the show is available on Transistor, Spotify and iTunes.
