PURDUE AT THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The Purdue women won the Big Ten indoor team championship in 2001 and have placed second five times, most recently in 2018. The men have earned three runner-up finishes, in 1989, 2001 and 2008. The Boilermaker men have won 82 individual Big Ten titles indoors, while the women have claimed 46 individual crowns.

At last season's championships, the Purdue men placed fourth, with 70 points, while the women were 10th with 25 points. It was the men's second top-10 finish since 2011 and the best showing since the squad was fourth in 2010. Five Boilermakers earned All-Big Ten accolades in 2019, and all return to the conference championship this season: Jalil Brewer, Brian Faust, Tamar Greene, Janae' Moffitt and Waseem Williams.
